XXXXXXL takes inspiration from body dysmorphic disorder. I mainly focused my research on how body dysmorphia can alter a person's view of themselves and how it can warp their perception of their body. Innovative pattern cutting and technical seaming create a flow throughout the collection and symbolise how a person’s mind feels distorted and warped when suffering with body dysmorphia.
