The 'Urban Pub' situated in 'Cathedral Quarter' in Belfast draws upon the pre-existing laneways to fill a gap site between two narrow existing buildings. Acting as a boundary between the Laneway whilst opening up on the south side allowing light to enter and the bar to spill out into the courtyard. The deceptively simple box contains a complex, poetic synthesis of light, form and materials.
