My practice investigates and explores the forms of idols, icons from previous, ancient civilizations and interrogates the idea of the body and how it has been represented and revered throughout history.
I am influenced and inspired by art history, mythology, folklore and legends. In particular, relics and sculptural pieces- unfinished or in disrepair. I tend to find beauty in the decay.
