Magda Biedka is a ceramic artist whose work celebrates female physicality. Working conceptually, her current work is inspired by a ‘Sheela Na Gig” in the Hunt Museum, Limerick. Her work explores how women are viewed in modern society and how the female body is often reduced to the sexual. Her work both resurrects and reclaims the woman’s body to a celebration of the goddess that is in each of us.
