My installation 'The Fading Call of the Curlew' aims to highlight the declining numbers of curlews in Ireland.
I draw out the glass creating energetic sculptural birds. This technique mirrors the use of line drawing creating a sense of movement and time in three dimensions. The
fragility of the sculptures speaks to the pressures the modern world has exerted on the dwindling numbers
of birds.
