My work explores human sensory perception in architectural provisional spaces. I connect
them to allow the viewer to recognise and interpret a familiar place. Experiences of loss,
nostalgia and forgotten pasts are suggested through my use of transparent layers of imagery
that are transformed unexpectedly. In particular, I am focusing on the old Cork Airport Terminal that closed in 2006.
