Through Our Eyes. This exhibition gives a small insight into spring calving season on a dairy farm. Given the debates with farming, are these practices cruel?
These four photographs can be interpreted in many ways. For me I see the cows and calves happy with their surroundings they don't look stressed, for other people dairy farming can be seen as cruelty and unnatural for the calves to be taken from their mothers, being locked up for so long.
My intention for this exhibition is to get people to understand that not all farms or farmers treat their livestock badly. These five photographs are good examples of how the cows are treated in the farms around Ireland. I want the viewers to make up their own opinion on what they can see in my photographs.
