Surveillance runs through my work, using my phone as a tool to document the familiar and unfamiliar situations that occur throughout my daily routines. My work, that is then translated to paintings sets in stone events from friends and strangers. Spending time to make work on these unknown figures I can’t help but feel a connection towards them.
Alienation and loneliness are reoccurring themes that surround my work, although it is not intended, it seems the city instinctively provides these feelings for us.
