This work is a reflective piece, inspired by my own experience living with Chronic Illness. The depth of anxiety and the overwhelming fear and pain that comes with it, often feeling like you are drowning. I have a passion for Community Engagement and Access and this passion is seen in this installation. When developing this work I wanted to create a place for Gathering, Connecting and Contemplating. Being a reimagined hospital room it was important that a feeling of healing was inspired. Each aspect of this installation is carefully chosen and has a hidden story that invites the viewer to explore and find a shared connection.I hope to continue with this theme and explore many others through my work as a Creative Facilitator and Educator. I hope to create accessible and engaging projects that connect communities and develop new skills.
