I have illustrated a book with no words, which tells a story only with pictures. I call it Badger Crossing.I used colour pencils in the illustrations.It is about a badger and her cub who are travelling through a forest.They find a busy road running through the forest and try to cross it, but then a man appears who wants to kill them so that he can cut off their heads and display them.I disapprove of people killing animals for sport, because it is wasteful, and animals can sometimes feel sad when their family members are killed. I try to illustrate the adult badger as sad when her cub is killed, to show that animals mourn their dead sometimes.
