I am an incoming fourth year undergraduate student at Tufts University & School of the Museum of Fine Arts, pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Arts in studio arts and a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology. My studio practice is heavily influenced by folk art, landscape, and geometry. Through my primary medium of oil paint, I create sculptural/textural paintings with elements from found objects & natural materials to explore these themes, aiming to merge together my love for folk art and environmental theory. I have investigated these ideas at the Burren College of Art through studying spirals, deer, and landscape paintings, examining how these elements intersect to sculpt my environment and practice of placemaking.
