Our work, our labour, which we engage in daily, can be referred to as productive labour. According to Marx this is capitalist production, a wage-labour which when exchanged against the variable part of the capital produces surplus value for the capitalist. In this body of work the Slavic myth of the immortal golden horned goat is intertwined with Marx’s theory of surplus.
