My practice focuses on the documentation of food, specifically fruits and vegetables. I aim to make an abstract comment on consumerism, waste and how we are damaging the environment. I do this through painting onto recycled cardboard packaging. The flattened form of the packaging has been a continued source of inspiration for me. The shapes created by them creates a unique dynamic and fragmentation in my paintings. The most identifiable element of my work is my graphic style that combines fluid line with vivid colour.
