Aiming to drive needlework into the 21st Century, Smyth uses modern imagery, semiotics, and geometric patterns to create zesty, illustrative embroidery designs. Working mainly with the Multi-needle machine and digital software, she proudly labels herself as a 'Digital Crafter'.
