My inspiration for creating comes from storytelling. Be it a good book about a harrowing journey to reclaim a mountain, a game about saving a princess using a hand-me-down musical instrument or a film exploring a far-off magical universe living just out of sight! I adore keeping it local with myths and legends, the stuff told to kids over a thousand years ago that shapes the culture around us. A lot of my work is about just that! Either illustrating the stories told by others or telling my own stories and experiences through design.
