I am a visual artist from North Cork. My current practice engages participants in pedagogical processes that lead to 360 degree digital sculptural forms. I have been investigating the sensory materiality of both virtual and augmented realities. Using the framework of Rhythmanalysis and examining everyday-life through the lens of rhythm and archipelagic thinking, I have experimented with sonic, visual and ethnographic cartographies exploring sensory, technical responses and the idea of the extended mind. Positioned within the discourse of socially engaged art practice and extended realities, I have developed an expanded dialogical approach to art-making enabling communities to collaborate and co-produce the work and pushing the technology.
