I am a visual artist based in Dublin, Ireland, with a BFA and an MFA from NCAD.As an artist working across a variety of mediums, including photography, film, installation, archival material, creative and academic writing, my practice is an exploration of identity, place, belonging, language, culture, and heritage. My creative process is rooted in research, an excavation of history, emotions, and collective memory. I immerse myself in the stories of individuals, communities, and cultures, seeking to uncover the nuances that shape our understanding of identity and connection.Through my work, I aspire to evoke a profound emotional connection. By focusing on themes of identity, place, belonging, language, culture, and heritage, I aim to create a space where viewers can recognise their own experiences. As an Irish and Canadian artist, the duality of my background enriches my creativity and perspectives. It's through this convergence of cultures that I discover universal narratives and stories that transcend borders.
