Event Horizon is a collection divinely inspired by the idea of the future human, an artistic investigation of what the human form could evolve to, whether for aesthetic purposes or for the survival of the species as a whole. The garments are inspired by the human body, taking muscles and contorting them into shapes that are not familiar, and finding an explanation for them to become a part of us. An event horizon is the result of a gravitational field inside a black hole that prevents any information escaping it, it is impossible to see beyond an event horizon, which is a fitting name for this collection as the fate of the evolution of our physique into something alien is a complete mystery to us, we are blinded to what the human anatomy could advance to. Implementing modern creative processes like 3d printing, laser cutting and sonic welding to create garments and give them a futuristic element in both design and finish.
