However, these powerful characters are more well-known for their darker presences, typical of the culture surrounding female power. This collection delves into these strong characteristics whilst simultaneously addressing feminist issues in Irish identity. The overall colour palette contrasts light and dark, while greens of the Banshee’s forest and blues of the Cailleach’s sea distinguish between the two characters.
