My practice involves observing my surroundings and translating my subjective experience onto canvas and paper. I am inspired by slow cinema, the compositions of photography, the day by day experience, and other media such as television and music. My work serves as a personal anchor to the present moment, using drawing as a means to study the world around me. Through various mediums, such as watercolour and charcoal, I experiment with strong contrasts and perspectives to create my work. Drawing as a tool is fundamental to me, it carries with it a means of expression, observation, and improvement.
