I am endlessly captivated by the beauty of the natural world and the alluring qualities of light and warmth from the sun. I find inspiration in the fleeting moments of pink-tinged skies and golden sunlight at sunrise and sunset. Through my work, I seek to capture the essence of Apricity – the warmth of the sun in winter, illuminating the landscape with a golden radiance, and the palpable sense of comfort and rejuvenation accompanying its arrival. Similarly, I explore the allure of the golden hour—the moments just after sunrise or before sunset when the world is bathed in soft, golden light. The delicacy of the colours and the fleeting nature of pink skies, adds to their allure, making each occurrence a fleeting, magical moment of beauty to be cherished. The work explores the enriched experience upon human senses and to immerse themselves in the tranquillity of Apricity, to feel the warmth of the sun on their faces, the colours and the timeless allure of this fleeting phenomenon, the sun acting as a blanket woven with warmth and light.
