My style of painting is called Lyrical abstraction. In my paintings the themes of color, mark making, surface and texture are explored. I draw inspiration from my faith and life. To be one with a painting is to be absorbed in the paintings as the colors are absorbed on the canvas. In my process, visual color perception is important in expressing certain emotions or moods. The letting go process is often intimidating and vulnerable, my experiences are open for everyone to see.
