I am basing my work on my experiences of living in Rotterdam and of subsequently moving back to Cork, Ireland and then onto Sligo. My source material comes from my own photos taken over the years, while living in Rotterdam and in Cork. In my paintings I wish to convey a sense of isolation that can be felt when living in a large city.
