My work is mostly a discussion with myself in an effort to understand why I think something is going to grab my feet if I’m in a body of water that I can’t see the bottom of. It’s never happened to me before, and everything I know about large bodies of water tells me that it’s probably unlikely, but here I am, leering at the hazy seaweed and thinking it’s time to get out.
