I am a multi-disciplinary designer and illustrator based in Dublin. I am passionate about design for change, using my strong visual and typographic skills to raise awareness to important social and cultural issues. My work explores topics including feminism, gender, climate change and consumerism. 'Health and Safety for Women' is a book exploring the gender data bias, that is a systemic issue in which the data sets informing modern life are biased in favour of men. This historical lack of consideration of the experience of women in areas like design, medical trials, urban planning and technology leave data gaps which put women at risk. The publication plays on the visual language of the health and safety industry, to raise awareness to the dangerous consequences of these data gaps.
