I am a multi-disciplinary artist, currently based in Dublin. My work takes the form of film, photography, object and textile, performance and critical computing. My work often finds itself dissecting current sociological issues by drawing from his own personal experience. Currently, this practice examines masculinity and draws connections to topics such as body image. It interests me how my art might start a discourse, cause reflection or simply exist as an aesthetic and emotive piece of work.I am influenced by contemporary Irish artists such as Austin Hearne, Luke Van Gelderen, Bassam Al-Sabah, Oona Doherty and Fiona C.Whelan who I feel are reflective of both the world and Ireland around them, their work enriching our arts and culture sector.
