From a young age, my fascination for visual language and storytelling has been a constant source of motivation. Having a bi-cultural Irish/Swedish upbringing has allowed doorways into multiple traditions, cultures, environments and music for inspiration, and their many faces constantly influence my creations. Be it creatures, characters or worlds, my inspiration is deeply rooted in folklore, land and legend. Mysterious creatures and peculiar beings are where my mind usually wanders when creating and I love to encompass culture, myth and the slightly absurd in my work. I've always had a passion for storytelling and visual language. Despite my fears of the uncertainty of the world in 2020, I took the plunge and have now recently emerged as a graduate of Limerick School of Art & Design 2024, I continue to illustrate my beings, places, and creatures and bring them to life through animation, motion and sound - allowing their stories to unravel and meander further as well as sharing them in exhibits and festivals.
