I've always been drawn to the process of design and the infinite possibilities that lie within three-dimensional space. I used clay and other materials when I was young and now, armed with digital tools, I continue to explore the realm of three-dimensional art focusing on 3D art for games. I love creating characters and the worlds they inhabit, so for my final project I designed a dragon and its dimension.Through this project, I seek to capture the essence of duality - the interplay between ancient and contemporary, light and shadow, tradition and innovation. Within the magical realm I've crafted, the dragon finds its sanctuary, guarding a trove of treasures that transcend time and space. The environment is a juxtaposition of darkness and brilliance, as neon lights and signs pierce the backdrop of space.On the technical side of things, I wanted to explore using Unreal Engine 5 to create an environment for the first time and also to create a game ready creature character from scratch. Creating a character and then finally seeing it move around in my environment for the first time was an amazing moment. I also made many props for this project which can be seen all over the environment. I learned so much during this project and look forward to designing and creating many more worlds and characters in the future.
