This piece was created in response to the Moving pictures brief as part of the Royal Society for Art's 2021 Student Design Awards. My animation highlights the importance of getting to know those different to us (politically, racially, culturally, etc.) beyond the confines of a screen. The more intimately we get to know one another and foster relationships, the less reactionary we will be to clickbait and social media bluster.
Using Matryoshka Dolls as a visual metaphor for getting to know people more intimately, the narrative is succinct and almost wholly character driven.
