I am a Dublin-based visual artist. Photography is, for me, the most effective medium to explore the themes and subjects which engage me. My work focuses on identity formation, communication and the role of technology. Most recently, I have been examining the role of place in relation to various aspects of personal identity as a direct response to the current housing crisis in Ireland and how it is forcing young people to emigrate. My graduate project Room For None presents the bedrooms of Irish people in their twenties, as they navigate the beginning of their adult lives while living in their family home.
