Passports, Lifejackets and Lemons is based on the journey that thousands of Syrian refugees make in search of a safe place. Each look tells a segment of the story. Through deconstruction, distortion, creative stand and pattern work, weighted fabrics and eclectic brocades I hope to translate the despair, horror and turmoil they go through. A remembrance for the Western world not to forget them.
