My FYP is called Candys Circus and is about a character named Star and their dream of being a great dancer. When the circus moves into town Star's chance to follow this dream appears, but do they have what it takes to make this dream a reality? My film focuses on following your dreams and the challenges we must overcome in order to achieve them. My character Star faces many challenges they have to overcome. They also gain confidence to not be afraid to take the risk when they finally get the opportunity to make their dreams come true. I wanted this film to be fun and light hearted with bright fun colours and a sketchy art style. I think it can appeal to children and adults, I think for children it can encourage them to never give up on their dreams. For adults I think they will relate to the feeling of going through those struggles and achieving that dream.
