I am a lens-based artist and my work centres around memory, human experiences and moments that are seemingly banal but become less so through reflection and investigation. My most recent work 'Strange Liturgy' began as a concept built around a bizarre fascination with the Catholic Church which later morphed into a series of personal observations. It is a journey through childhood memory and self-discovery that is decorated heavily with religious iconography and mild absurdity that has been created through the artists own ambivalence to the subject matter. The video installation Strange Liturgy is a collection of thoughts, images and sounds.
