My themes range between surreal and uncanny which usually surround a personal subject. I use video to create art that makes the viewer left feeling unsettled from what they have just experienced. I have always had a love for television and movies growing up and I only appreciated the art form more when I was introduced to the world of experimental film. Artists like Maya Deren and Aideen Barry expanded my mind and my views on video art as well as inspired me to create my own surreal video pieces. I want viewers to question the reasons why such a video piece could impact them in such a way to get them to start asking questions. Not everyone will completely understand my work, however, if there is only a handful of people that do that's what matters to me.
