The human body is the most well known subject matter in the artworld, the subject matter for my art being no exception, as the human body is the main motif in my artwork. I am inspired by medical art and how it depicts the many different functions of the human body ranging from the organic systems of the body to the skeleton. I use charcoal in my work while using different shading techniques to get a better sense of the material of the part of the body that I am drawing, whether it be flesh or bone. My use of charcoal helps me better the outcome of my artwork.
