Working as a director on 'No Way Home' gave me the chance to inspire people with my art and reflect on the world around me. No way home focused on a small story that is important for our society. I used my creativity to capture the story of 'No Way Home', a story that matters. Working with the contributors to give them a safe space was a vital part of my filmmaking process. My own family story was a big reason for making 'No Way Home'. My grandmother was a refugee and had to leave her hometown. This is why it was important for me to give these two refugees a voice. I want to share my film with people who don't know much about this topic and give them a different view of refugees and how they are welcomed in Ireland.
