“A complete change of form or appearance into a more beautiful or spiritual state” Transfiguration is a printed textile/weave/fashion collection that demonstrates the rebirth and renewal of derelict buildings around Dublin. The beauty within the abandonment and decay of these gems of architecture inspired me to design my collection and give these buildings life again, in a new form. These buildings have stood the test of time and they are a link from the past to the future. With techniques of heat printing, sewing and extensive sampling my collection will showcase my expressions and emotions towards the transfiguration of buildings in the form of textiles and fashion.
