Performatively my practice contains a gentle detangling, exploring degrees of impact on surface. Through the intervention of my body, I use shedding hair as a source of organic material in which to create traces. The performance is translated from the live gesture into a practice where the traces are taken as the visual/lingual material for the work through painting, photography & text.
