My painting practice consists of both works on paper and canvas, with the parallel relationship between place and the self being a key theme throughout. I am intrigued by how, we ourselves are installed in places and how this affects our personal and emotional consciousness. I hope to evoke this through establishing a balance between ambiguous compositions and the play of colour and paint density.
