Custom House Studios, Westport presents ‘Stations of the Cross’ drawings by Evie Hone, from the Irish American Cultural Institute’s O’Malley Collection of 20th Centenary Irish Art at the University of Limerick. Hone’s style evolved from Cubism to Expressionism in the 1930s when she began to explore religious themes. The exhibition features fourteen black and white sketches depicting the Stations of the Cross, which were the initial drawings for the finished oil works on canvas commissioned for Kiltullagh Church in Galway. Also included are five other works on paper. Evie Hone: until 7 December
