A retrospective of the work of New York-born artist and photographer Richard Noble takes place at the Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny. Featuring work from different phases of his career, the display includes a body of studio photography taken in the 1960s, ‘70s, and ‘80s, with his advertising photography including the iconic Virginia Slims campaign and more recent work in a wide range of media including portrait photography, blueprints and video. ‘Island People’, a series of portraits of well-known Irish figures by Noble, will be exhibited for the first time.
