As part of their spring programme, the Market Place Theatre presents four new exhibitions. ‘Lie of the Land’ brings together work by Lora Murphy, Niamh O’Connor, and Rosemarie Langtry, exploring the history of female institutionalisation. Blawnin Clancy’s work in ‘On the Horizon’, captures the ethereal and dream-like appearance of islands in half-light. Later on, ‘The Art of Craft’, brings together a selection of artists, designers and makers in the fifth annual showcase of applied art, craft, and design. Finally, a Darby Reid retrospective celebrates the work of the geography teacher turned artist.
