Two exhibitions at the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre celebrate and explore nature. In ‘Drawing as Exploring’, Katy English uses drawing as a way to slow down the act of seeing to allow the forces of growth and mathematics to reveal themselves. Silversmith Stuart Cairns combines found materials with silver to create artefacts in the tradition of tableware, tools and domestic objects. In ‘A Language of Landscape’, his experience of walking, collecting and making are presented in a series of photographs and material drawings.
