The Naughton Gallery‘s autumn programme begins with ‘Future Ruins’, a large-scale group exhibition exploring the body’s relationship to its urban surroundings, featuring both local and international artists who explore urban landscapes from Istanbul and Tangier to Leeds and Los Angeles. Later, ‘Maybe She’s Born with It’, explores the charged wave of feminism currently pulsing through contemporary society. Sarah Maple, Nicky Minus, and Gina Wynbrandt capture the movement’s vitality, with their high-impact, humorous, and often controversial work demystifying and reclaiming the word “feminism” for new generations.
Future Ruins: until 2 October;
Maybe She’s Born With It: 13 October – 27 November
