A collaboration between the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University and the Lewis Glucksman Gallery, Cork, the group exhibition ‘2116: Forecast of the next Century’, presents various artists’ visions of Ireland in one hundred years’ time. Artists have long occupied the roles of visionaries and innovators, but predicting the future can be an impossible feat. Works on display reflect the inherent uncertainty in long-term forecasting, while others present distinct images of what is to come. Artists include Amanda Coogan, Siobhán Hapaska, Mairead O’hEocha, and the Centre for Genomic Gastronomy.
2016 Forecast: until 2 April
