An exhibition of new work by Charles Harper at the Russell Gallery in New Quay displays the artist’s recent concern with his own imaginative reflections on the cultural environment drawn from his upbringing, in particular mythology. His signature style – the use of the grid – is evident in this exhibition, along with other symbolic motifs such as boats, the human form, angels and captivating landscapes.
