The Luan Gallery shows ‘Asymmetrical Warfare’, works by painter Conor Walton. The title comes from a piece in the show – a humorous self-portrait which depicts the artist riding into battle on the back of a dinosaur. The ‘dinosaur’ represents his artistic practice, which, although ancient, he believes still has teeth. Working in an academic figurative style, Walton previously studied old master techniques at the Charles H Cecil Studios, Florence.
