For this year’s Bloomsday Festival, the James Joyce Centre presents the ‘Ulysses Haiku Project’, which invites participants to express their experience of James Joyce’s Ulysses and Bloomsday through the form of Haiku. Master printmaker Robert Russell transforms the resulting Haiku into copperplate etchings, which are on show at the centre. Elsewhere, the Oliver Cornet Gallery hosts ‘Olives, Oysters and Oranges’, a group exhibition centred around the food in Ulysses. Featured artists include Yanny Peters, Eoin MacLochlainn, Michelle Boyle, Áine Divine and John Keating.
James Joyce Centre: from 10 June; Oliver Cornet Gallery: 13 – 30 June
