The Birr Vintage Week and Arts Festival has, amongst its offerings, Harry Moore leading a workshop on pinhole photography and Neal Greig introducing plein air painting in the grounds of Birr Castle. The Tin Jug Studio/Stiúideo Crúiscín Stán hosts a series of workshops by resident and visiting artists including Belinda Deutinger, Emma Barone and Rowena Keaveney under the title ‘Materiality’ while, in the evenings, Offline Film Festival illuminates heritage buildings in the town.
