The Snite Museum of Art at the University of Notre Dame hosts a celebration of Irish Art, marking recent donations and important loans to the university’s collections. Irish art including works by Jack B Yeats, Roderic O’Conor and Mary Swanzy shows alongside photographs of Irish country and city life by Alen MacWeeney; a celebrated group of James Barry prints, part of the museum’s own works, and loans from the collection of Pat and John O’Brien from Chicago. The exhibition is presented in collaboration with the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies at Notre Dame. Image: Alen MacWeeney
